Following the First Ministers announcement at lunchtime on Monday concerning the Circuit Breaker lockdown, it is regrettable that BCWAC will have to close from 6 pm Friday 23rd October until Monday 9th November.
The ‘Fire-break’ regulations require that all businesses, such as retail, hospitality, leisure & tourism etc, except “essential retail” close. Even the recent exception for children to take part in sport is rescinded. You are not permitted to meet anyone from another household, even outside.
The stay at home order is legally enforcable. You can leave the home for exercise and while no specific form of exercise is prohibited, and there are no constraints on duration/distance, there are practical limits on what people may do. People are asked to avoid activities that involve a significant degree of risk (for example swimming or other exercise at sea, or in lakes, rivers or other waterways).
Should you require access to the centre you must contact the manager before visiting, and he may advise you that a visit is not permitted.
